    • This graphic novel is amazing! Julie brings the glory, culture and atmosphere of Ancient Egypt to life in such a deep human way. I give this second part of the series a 10/10 because it is so harrowing and left me breathless. Looking forward to discovering what Khenti and Nekhet will face as they push forward to Nubia. Every scene was wonderfully designed with exquisite detail!

    • Issue 2 has the best environmental art I've seen in any graphic novel. Period. Also, the fictional world of Aya is based on years of research on African mythology. The writer literally has been to over a dozen African countries. You're not likely to get a better fictional world based on Africa created by a one man team anywhere, and I doubt the corporations with large enough teams to do the same research and output the same quality of art are interested in African mythology right now. Issue 2 wh [...]

    • Beautiful artThe artwork in the first two issues is amazing and I love the idea of Egyptian werewolves! I think I've gotten used to reading graphic novels as collected volumes and reading issue by issue I have a hard time getting into the arc of the story. Still, there's definitely enough going on in the first two issues that I will stick with this series to see where it goes.

    • The second issue of this intriguing supernatural saga doesn't disappoint! We see more of the relationship between fugitive brothers Khenti and Nekhet. Also, we discover more of how lycanthrophy functions in this ancient world. The gorgeous art of author/artist Paul Louise-Julie continues to impress with its vibrancy and cinematic feel. This book has quickly become a top favorite of mine.

    • FinallyGlad the main characters aren't so mainstream. The werewolf mythos in comics/movies is seriously lacking in the African, Asian and other cultures besides European and North American. Glad to see a different way of the wild side!

    • The thrilling "Werewolves in Ancient Egypt" storyline continues with even more drop dead gorgeous art. It's Simply beautiful. Waiting on the 3rd issue.

    • Brilliant! The storyline is refreshing and the art is just breathtaking! I am hooked on this series! Can't wait for the sequel!
