    • Full review on my blog: bookidote.wordpress/2016/Mallory is still in the middle of her teenage years (13 years old) and I guess that’s why her personality is immature and annoying. I tried to sympathize but these characters’s behaviours are not to my liking. The book may be more appropriate to a younger audience. Once I don’t click with the main character, it’s hard for me to really get into the book. But Rebecca’s writing makes it easy to follow the plot and enjoy it till the very end [...]

    • well I just finished this and if there was half stars it would be .0.05!!! At time of my review there is only 7 other reviews and if I bothered to look at those first I would have caught on to the trick and not bothered. Several of these so called reviewers have a name no picture, just recently a member and guess what only read ONE book--no lie, THIS BOOK! these people did not bother with writing any review just gave it 5 stars!I am not going to be totally mean but ---Hey I did finish it!this a [...]

    • Regarding Lesley's comment from November 6, yes the teenage girl was annoying and over the top with her feelings - isn't that how most teenage girls are??? I think it was very well written and an accurate portrayal of teenage life in the 80's. I got sucked in and couldn't put the book down.

    • statutory rape is never okay and should not be a source of entertainment for the masses. Just because a book takes place in the 1980s does not mean that this and many of the comments and actions in the book are okay especially for teen readers. giveaway win

    • This book was entertaining start to finish. The plot was well paced and the characters were well formed.I was drawn into the story and finished it quickly, which is a criteria for good writing for me.All in all a good book, and a good cautionary tale.

    • thank you for letting me reviewI enjoyed the book it was well writtenthe teenage girl was a bit annoying but aren't most teensI thought it ws ell written great job on the book
